What damage can be invisibly mended?
Moth holes, burn holes, tears and thinned patches — best in wool, cashmere and firm suiting fabrics. The finer the weave and the smaller the damage, the more invisible the result. We tell you honestly what is achievable.
Can I post clothing to you for invisible mending?
Yes, from anywhere in Germany. First send us a photo of the damage for a quote. Then post the garment to: wiederjut, Baumschulenstraße 36, 12437 Berlin. After the work it goes back to you well packaged by post.
Is invisible mending always worth it?
No — and we tell you beforehand. With large damage or very fine knits, a visible, clean repair is sometimes the better and cheaper choice. That's why the photo comes first — the quote costs nothing.
