How-to guides
Shortening jeans without losing the factory look
Jeans too long but too good to throw out? The challenge with denim is keeping the character — the original hem, the contrast topstitching, the faded edge. A workshop that knows denim shortens the leg and reattaches the original hem so the jeans look like they left the factory at your height.

Repair or replace a zip?
Is the slider stuck or are teeth missing? Sometimes a repair is enough, sometimes the whole zip has to come out. Replacement from €20 (trousers), €25 (dress/skirt), €30 (jacket/coat), usually in 1–3 working days. If it jams just before an event, a same-day fix is often possible.

Fit & advice
What a tailor changes that brands cannot
Off-the-rack sizing is designed for a body that barely exists — the perfectly average one. A tailor starts from your actual measurements, and that shift changes how you carry yourself, how often you reach for a piece, and how much the clothes look like they cost.

The fit problems built into every volume garment
Zara, H&M and their competition cut for an average body. That works well enough — until your shoulders slope differently, or you're long in the torso, or one hip sits higher than the other. Those aren't bad luck with a particular piece. They're built into how volume cutting works.
