When a zip jams just before an event, we fix it in the workshop — often while you wait. From €15. How late we can take work in depends on how busy we are and when we close — best to call shortly before you come.

Call first
Tell us what's broken and when you need to wear it. We'll tell you honestly whether today works.

Walk in
Workshop at Baumschulenstraße 36 in Berlin-Treptow, or one of our others in Bernau, Strausberg and Tangermünde. Address and map under Locations.

Repaired, often while you wait
Seam and button usually on the spot. Zip replacement usually 1–2 hours.

Fitting and payment
Put it on once more before handover. Payment in cash or by debit card.
What we don't promise
So you know when to look elsewhere.
- Very complex repairs (leather jacket with lining, multi-layered bodice): please book an appointment.
- Vintage or collector items without an on-site damage assessment.
- Repairs with less than ninety minutes' notice when the workshop is full — please call first.
Drop-offs and closing times
How late we can take work in depends on how busy we are and when we close — best to call before you set off. On busy Saturdays the cut-off comes earlier.

Repair or replace a zip?
Is the slider stuck or are teeth missing? Sometimes a repair is enough, sometimes the whole zip has to come out. Replacement from €20 (trousers), €25 (dress/skirt), €30 (jacket/coat), usually in 1–3 working days. If it jams just before an event, a same-day fix is often possible.

Do I need an appointment?
Usually not — just send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll let you know straight away if we have capacity today.
Is it available on Saturdays too?
Yes. On busy Saturdays the cut-off for new repairs can come earlier.
Is the repair guaranteed?
If the repair tears again in the same spot, we will take another look at it free of charge.
