Resoling, heels, seams or a stuck boot zip: much can be repaired instead of throwing the shoes out. We offer shoe repair at our Strausberg location — the price depends on the material and the damage, and usually runs into double figures.

A few small steps make the assessment in the workshop faster.

See what's broken: a worn-down heel, a worn-through sole, an open seam or a stuck zip.

What can be repaired — and what can't
Most leather and quality shoes repair well: new heels, a new sole, a closed seam, a replaced boot zip. Cheap, fully glued shoes without a stitchable welt are harder to repair — and often no longer worth it. We can tell at a glance what makes sense for your pair.

When a repair is worth it
With good leather shoes a repair is almost always worth it: a new heel or sole costs a fraction of a new pair — and broken-in shoes fit better than any new ones. Favourite pieces and expensive boots are worth it too. Only with very cheap, glued shoes is buying new sometimes the more honest recommendation.

Plain heel or seam work often within a few working days; a resole can take a little longer. When you come in, we'll give you a firm pickup date.

Do you also repair zips on boots?
Yes, we replace stuck or broken boot zips. We'll give you a price once we've seen them.

At our Strausberg location, Große Straße 63. The other workshops handle clothing alterations, but not shoe repair.

Yes, both please. Heels and soles are done as a pair, so you stand level and walk evenly afterwards.
